Ray Golden Promoted to President of Ticaboo Management, LLC, Offshore Marina, Inc and Lake Powell Adventures & Hite Outpost
TICABOO UTAH – Ticaboo Investment Holdings, LLC, a Utah company with lodging, restaurant, adventure and marina services at North Lake Powell in Bullfrog Basin, announced the advancement of Ray Golden as President of Ticaboo Management, LLC, Offshore Marina, Inc and Lake Powell Adventures & Hite Outpost. John Motley has taken over the role of general manager and will be leading the operations team, while Amy Golden has taken the role of north operations manager with Connie Malone as human resources director.
“Over the last several months, Ray has transformed every aspect of our business. Our foundation is much stronger, and our path forward is clear. Ray is an experienced leader with an unmatched reputation, appreciation and understanding to advance our objectives and plans. To this end, I am pleased to announce his promotion to President of Ticaboo Management, LLC, Offshore Marina, Inc and Lake Powell Adventures & Hite Outpost. We are equally excited about the talented team that Ray has surrounded himself with,” stated Bob Mitchell, Ticaboo business partner.
Golden’s career in outdoor recreation began as a whitewater raft guide on the New and Gauley Rivers in West Virginia. He and his wife, Amy have since managed lodges, rafting companies and have owned successful fishing bait and tackle businesses in North Carolina and Georgia. The Goldens’ were originally hired in 2016 to develop Ticaboo’s Adventure Center.
“Our entities have made great strides in solidifying the foundations and infrastructure associated with sound business management in the past 18 months that I have had the opportunity to serve as General Manager, which is a tremendous challenge in such a desolate, rural location. Now that we’ve found success in tackling those obstacles, it is time to take a step back from operations and move toward business development, marketing, and building the adventure center in this pristine, beautiful corner of southern Utah. We’re turning the operations over to a well-seasoned and experienced General Manager, and I look forward to working with him while furthering our goals of growing and adding value to this business,” said Golden.
